Business Update on COVID-19
At MERLYN, our employees and customers remain our top priority as measures are taken to contain and prevent COVID-19. We are committed to keeping you informed of our efforts to ensure minimal disruption to our business and supply chain. In all cases we are following our business continuity plan, we are staying vigilant and keeping up to date with advice from the government and the World Health Organisation.
Welfare of our Employees
The health and safety of our employees is of the utmost importance to MERLYN. We have put in place robust measures to manage actions and communications for dealing with COVID-19.
We have also developed enhanced preventative measures to ensure we mitigate any potential risk. We are also implementing business continuity measures across all our support departments to ensure service excellence continues in all areas of our business.
Our Sales Team
All our sales team are available and working normal hours remotely. In line with above and respecting the wishes of our customers, there will be no customer visits. As always, our staff are ready to support and assist you in any way they can.
Stock and Supply Chain
Continuing to service our customers during this period is a priority. At this time, our teams have indicated there are no known issues with our ability to meet demand. Additionally, based on current information, we do not anticipate any interruption in our continuity of supply in the immediate future. Our manufacturing partner facilities are open and are all operational.
As you are aware, the situation on the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus is very changeable. Although we cannot guarantee disruptions will not occur, we can assure you if there is a change in our ability to supply, we will promptly contact the affected customers. Additionally, we will work with you to try to mitigate any adverse effects of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
Our drivers are adhering to social distancing so please be aware that your contact with driver will be very limited. We are asking for your help where we make home deliveries, especially if that might be to a home where people are self-isolating. If that is the situation, please do keep us informed.
